Thinktanks was born from a shared belief between its founders, Kim and Jeffrey Lange: that everyone deserves a quiet space to think, create, and find clarity. Both had worked in hectic open floor offices that were full of distractions where peaceful places to focus could be difficult to find.

Kim, a meditation teacher, had spent years guiding individuals toward mindfulness, helping them navigate the modern world's relentless distractions. She understood the power of quiet concentration and the transformative impact a moment of silence could have on wellbeing and creativity.

Jeffrey, a serial entrepreneur and Y Combinator alum, had built and scaled multiple successful startups. Through his journey he noticed a recurring theme—the best ideas and clearest decisions were often born in moments of uninterrupted quiet, not during crowded meetings or high-stakes brainstorming sessions.
